TXT surprised all of their fans after the release of their album, “7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns.” The celebration album became a great moment for the boy band in Japan, where they earned another Gold Disc certification.
On May 15 KST, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that TXT received a Platinum certification for their eighth mini album. The certification is awarded to albums that surpass 250,000 copies in cumulative shipments. This new achievement becomes the group’s 16th Gold Disc certification in the country.
Several other albums have also received Platinum certifications as well, including “The Star Chapter: Sanctuary,” “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,” “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” and “Chaotic Wonderland.” The promotions are far from over. TXT will hold their special concert, ‘2026 TXT MOA CON,’ in Aichi, Japan, on May 23 and 24 to celebrate the seventh anniversary of their debut.
