During a recent interview, TWICE‘s Tzuyu talks about BTS‘ ‘big role’ in K-Pop globalization going quickly viral among fans amid fandom rivalry and debates about the group that sent the genre to the top of popularity.
In conversation with Forbes, the girl group was asked about who they believe is the G.O.A.T. in the industry, making them laugh while Jeongyeon gave a sweet look at her members and yelled, “TWICE! My G.O.A.T. is TWICE! I love TWICE!”.
For her part, Tzuyu mentioned BTS for their impeccable work in expanding the genre: “There are so many K-pop artists who worked so hard so that K-pop can take the center stage. Many artists worked hard to contribute, and BTS played a big role in that”.
On days of much rivalry between K-Pop fandoms, the TWICE member shows admiration and respect for her colleagues, showing her true intentions of honoring them without ignoring other artists’ hard work to continue their legacy.
