The Kpop fandoms were shaking after BTS’ J-Hope appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel 177’s program, “Sana’s Fridge Interview,” with TWICE’s Sana. Fortunately, the idol had just the right questions to ask J-Hope: What is his ideal type?
On June 19, BTS’s J-Hope justified his appearance on the show by stating that he was just promoting his new song, “Killin’ It Girl,” on different South Korean music programs and variety shows, including Sana’s.
The highlight of the interview came when Sana directly asked J-Hope: “What’s your ideal type?” The idol was genuinely surprised that Sana asked that kind of question, but she clarified that it was a signature question of the “Fridge Interview.”
“I haven’t been asked that in 10 years. But I do have a clear answer. It has to be someone different from me. personality-wise, values…I mean, of course, we can’t be different in every single way. But I think I prefer people who think differently from me. I feel a spark when someone has a different perspective from mine. For example, if there’s a pear drink, I’d naturally assume it contains pear. But when someone approaches it from a completely different angle, that difference in thinking excites me.”
