In a recent confirmation video, it was revealed that TWICE‘s Jihyo‘s younger sister will debut under HYBE‘s new girl group, receiving much attention from many K-Pop fans around the world.

On May 25th, the HYBE’s new label ABD (A Bold Dream) launched their official social media accounts, also their first content introducing the brand identity and the members of their upcoming rookie girl group showing off their visuals and dancing skills.

Among the three members revealed, fans and netizens noticed there was Jihyo’s youngest sister, Park Seoyeon, drawing much attention in online communities for her striking visuals, which seemingly resemble her famous sister.

The current lineup of the new girl group, scheduled to debut in the second half of this year, has intensified public interest as she has reportedly spent years training in preparation for her debut, and the results are finally coming soon.

Seoyeon’s debut will mean that the three sisters in Jihyo’s family will all be active in the entertainment industry; due to her, the idol middle sister, Lee Ha Eum, debuted as an actress in 2024 in the Girls Love drama ‘Request to Resign.’

The TWICE leader recently revealed that even knowing the difficulties of being an idol and in this industry, “When my sister said she wanted to be a celebrity, I couldn’t stop her,” assuring that “you have to choose what you want to do in your life. So you don’t regret it later,” demonstrating she is the best older sister.
