Through a recent interaction with fans, TWICE‘s Jihyo talked about meeting Ariana Grande at the Golden Globes’ restroom, sharing her admiration and the reason why they do not have a photo together.
On January 11th, the K-Pop idol attended as a guest at the prestigious award ceremony, looking beautiful in a total black outfit, while the American singer was a nominee for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for ‘Wicked: For Good.’
During the event, fans were waiting to see Jihyo interacting with Ariana Grande, and when the images never arrived, they asked the TWICE member through her Bubble fan chat about if she had the opportunity to meet the pop star.
“I saw her in the restroom… It really was fascinating. I wanted to talk to her, but when I saw that literally everyone in the restroom was asking for photos, I felt bad and couldn’t do it lol, sigh,” Jihyo revealed in response.
Despite the lack of photos of the artists together, fans onlthey are happy to know they were at the same event and will surely have another opportunity to interact properly and take photos.
