A few hours ago, TWICE‘s Chaeyoung announced her departure from JYP Entertainment for solo activities while remaining a member of the girl group.
On August 13th, the K-Pop idol updated her Instagram account with a new Instagram post sharing with ONCEs the next step in her career under her new LIL FANTASY project, which she describes as a “world where I can explore and build my music”.
Chaeyoung continues expressing her gratitude towards JYP Entertainment and the TWICE team for “believing in and supporting me over the past 14 years” and her 8 members “who are always my strength and biggest supporters” since they debuted together in 2015.
“Most of all, please know that nothing changes with TWICE. Everything I’ve received is thanks to my time as TWICE, which will always be my roots.”
The TWICE member concluded sharing her hopes for this new era full of music, promising fans to continue growing as a better person and artist. “Thank you for always believing in me. I love you!”
