For a few months now, Australian singer and dancer Troye Sivan has been living a dilemma regarding a bad experience that happened to him when he revealed all that he suffered after showing his love for Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin, after they met at a Cannes event a few months ago.
Although the singer is known to be friends with different singers of the KPOP genre, such as Jennie, he met the Stray Kids member at Versace’s ‘La Vacanza‘ fashion show in May, where they sat together, talked and took photos together. However, his love for the South Korean Idol started when he posted on his TikTok account a video with the description, “Someone knows how to get this guy“.
Before this, the STAYs went through the singer’s social networks to tell him the best way to communicate with him, however days later in another video he shared that this was going to be the last time he showed his love publicly towards a KPop star, as some people criticized him a lot and almost “took his life“.
In the middle of an interview with Apple Music, Troye Sivan talked about what happened, “What the heck happened when you wanted to contact Hyunjin, what were the craziest comments you received“, asked the interviewer. “You can’t imagine, it was totally crazy, it even makes me a little nervous to talk about it now“. He also commented how happy he was that the fans helped him with his request, but he didn’t like the mistreatment from many who just wanted to make him feel bad to keep him away from Hyunjin.
