The City of Toronto officially revealed BTS Boulevard on August 21, 2026, ahead of the boy group’s upcoming shows in the city. The temporary street designation is located along Yonge Street in North York, extending from North York Boulevard to Finch Avenue. The signs are adorned with a red design, directly inspired by BTS’ current ARIRANG album aesthetic. They will remain in place until September 23, 2026, marking a full month following the boy group’s visit to the region.

Toronto has also declared August 22 and August 23, 2026, as BTS Weekend. The 7-member team will perform two sold-out concerts that are expected to attract thousands of fans from Canada and nearby countries. To celebrate the shows, the Toronto Sign at Nathan Phillips Square will be illuminated in purple, which is also a color that has long been connected to BTS and their fandom, known as ARMY.
Maple ARMYs are welcoming @BTS_twt back to Toronto and celebrating #BTS_WORLDTOUR_ARIRANG_TORONTO with ads around the city from Aug 21-24. 💜

The celebration will also highlight Toronto’s Korean-Canadian community. Visitors can use the Yonge North York BIA’s Korean Vibe Guide to discover Korean-owned businesses and locate all 20 BTS Boulevard signs. The concerts will also occur at the same time as the Korean Harvest Festival at Mel Lastman Square. After the temporary celebratory occasion ends, the signs are expected to be donated to NeighbourLink North York for a future public giveaway.
