BTS’ RM and J-Hope spent time backstage with Chris Brown during a stop on his R&B stadium tour this week. The “Residuals” singer shared a photo on Instagram on August 12, 2026, showing the two KPop stars standing beside him in what appeared to be a backstage zone. Brown did not explain exactly when or where the photo was taken, but the timing seemed to match his Toronto performances at Rogers Stadium on August 11 and August 12, 2026. The singer captioned the photo with “WALK in your purpose. Even if you have to walk alone first.”
J-Hope later shared videos from the concert, giving fans an intimate look at the moment. One clip showed Usher performing his 2004 hit “Yeah!” while another clip featured Chris Brown onstage. RM and J-Hope also appeared together in a selfie video while moving along to Brown’s 2011 song “Look At Me Now.” While they seemed to be enjoying the show, it was not clear if their appearance at the event had any connection to a potential musical collaboration.

The two members attended the show during a short break from BTS’ own “ARIRANG” world tour schedule. The seven-member group had recently finished two concerts at M&T Stadium in Baltimore and was scheduled to perform next at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on August 15, 2026. BTS is also set to return to Rogers Stadium in Toronto for two concerts on August 22 and August 23, 2026.
