The 2020s have been a wild ride for music, with artists like BTS and Taylor Swift dominating the Billboard Hot 100. But they are not alone in the race. Let’s break down the artists with the most number-one hits this decade, ranked from six to one.

#06. Morgan Wallen (4 #1 hits): He ruled 2023 with “Last Night” spending a massive 16 non-consecutive weeks at the top. He followed that with “Love Somebody” in 2024, plus “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone and “What I Want” with Tate McRae, both dominating in 2024 and 2025.

#05. Kendrick Lamar  (4 #1 hits): Tied with Morgan Wallen, the rapper smashed  2024 and 2025 with back-to-back hits. “Not Like Us,” “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, and “Squabble Up” last year. Meanwhile, “Not Like Us” took the crown again this year, with “Luther” (feat. SZA) quickly taking the top spot afterwards.

#04. BTS (6 #1 hits): The group made  history in 2020 with “Dynamite,” “Savage Love” remix, and “Life Goes On.” In 2021, they kept the momentum with “Butter,” “Permission to Dance,” and the Coldplay collaboration “My Universe,” cementing their global superstar status.

#03. Taylor Swift (7 #1 hits): The singer  lit up the charts with “Cardigan,” “Willow,” “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version),” “Anti-Hero,” “Cruel Summer,” “Is It Over Now?” and “Fortnight.”

#02. Drake (7 #1 hits):  Drake balanced solo and collaborations with chart-toppers like “Toosie Slide,” “What’s Next,” “Way 2 Sexy,” “Wait For U,” “Jimmy Cooks,” “Slime You Out,” and “First Person Shooter.”

#01. Ariana Grande (7 #1 hits): Ariana stacked her seven with hits like “Stuck With U,” “Rain on Me,” “Positions,” “Save Your Tears,” “Die for You,” with The Weeknd,  “Yes, And?,” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).”
