In the Korean entertainment world, there are many versatile artists who have developed skills in various fields from a very young age, as is the case with these 6 K-Pop idols who originally debuted as child actors.
These were young artists who, since they were born, knew they belonged in front of the cameras and, before finding their musical vocation, debuted in entertainment in acting, proving their versatility and talent. Check out the list:
1. Moonbin (ASTRO): He debuted at age 11 playing the young version of protagonist So Yi-jung in the legendary 2009 K-drama ‘Boys Over Flowers.’
2. Park Ji-hoon (Solista / Ex-Wanna One): He debuted at age 7 in the acclaimed 2006 historical drama ‘Jumong,’ followed by an active career in musical theater.
3. Chani (SF9): He debuted at age 9 in the 2009 historical K-drama ‘Queen Seondeok’ and continued his career in ‘Can You Hear My Heart’ (2011) and ‘To the Beautiful You’ (2012).
4. Chanwoo (iKON): He debuted at age 10 in the 2008 historical K-drama ‘The Great King, Sejong,’ and then he played children’s versions of Lee Min-ho in ‘Boys Over Flowers’ (2009) and in ‘The Heirs’ (2013).
5. Park Si-eun (STAYC): She debuted at age 13 in the children’s series ‘Pluto Secret Society’ in 2014 and continued making young versions in ‘Six Flying Dragons’ (2015) and ‘Still 17’ (2018).
6. Jun (SEVENTEEN): He debuted at age 6 on the Chinese program ‘Give Me Folly’ in 2002 and continued to consolidate his career by starring in the Hong Kong film ‘The Pye Dog’ in 2006.
