KPop Demon Hunters continues to dominate Billboard’s Top Soundtracks chart and is getting closer to one of the chart’s biggest milestones. The soundtrack for the Netflix film has spent 54 weeks at #1, placing it only eight weeks behind Moana, which currently holds the record with 62 weeks in the top position.
During its successful chart run, KPop Demon Hunters has temporarily lost the peak position to four different releases. Wicked: For Good, The Vince Guaraldi Trio’s A Charlie Brown Christmas, Charli xcx’s Wuthering Heights, and the soundtrack from the television series Heated Rivalry. Each of them replaced the “Golden” soundtrack for one week at the top of the tally. However, if KPop Demon Hunters reaches 63 weeks at the top, it will officially pass Moana and establish a new record.
