Nothing is dimming the glow of KPop Demon Hunters and the song “Golden.” On September 5, 2025, the breakout track from this Netflix animated hit locked in its fifth non-consecutive week at #1 on the U.K. Singles Chart. The song, performed by the fictional group HUNTR/X, sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, now holds the crown for the longest-running K-pop chart-topper in the United Kingdom. The only other track to snag that spot was PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” back in 2012, for one week.
But “Golden” is not shining alone. Two other tracks from the movie also climbed their way into the top ten: Saja Boys’ sweet “Soda Pop” at #5 and the elegant “Your Idol” at #8. In addition, other K-pop acts managed to crack a spot in the chart, with TWICE dropping “Takedown” at #24 and “Strategy” at #32. BLACKPINK, fresh from a Wembley Stadium takeover, saw their single “JUMP” leap to #34.
Outside K-pop, rising pop girl Olivia Dean claimed her highest chart spot yet with “Man I Need” at #2. Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter flexed her power with three top-ten hits: “Tears,” debuting at #3, Manchild jumping back into the spotlight at #4, and “My Man On Will Power” making an entrance at the seventh spot. Rounding up the top 10, Chappell Roan’s “The Subway” drops one spot to #10.
