TvN’s K-drama, ‘My Lovely Liar’ was the hidden gemstone of this year. The series has caused such a furor among the fans because of the great plot they have presented over the episodes and the fans were shocked because of the BL plot twist almost ending the season.
‘My Lovely Liar’ centers on the relationship between the murder suspect Kim Do Ha and Mok Sol Hee. However, the stories are giving momentum to a situation considered BL (Boys’ Love) which completely caused a furor among the fans.
During the 14th episode, one of the characters who are linked to the alleged murder is going out of their way to make Kim Do Ha fall in love, and he is already aware of it. This plot twist caught everyone off guard because this character is Do Ha’s best friend.
Undoubtedly nobody was expecting this could happen during the series because they didn’t give any sign about this BL plot twist. However, it caused such a warm welcome among the fans who couldn’t help to share their excitement on social media and praise ‘My Lovely Liar’ creators and TvN for making this series inclusive and fresh during the first season.
