This is how the KATSEYE members support Sophia and Manon during their breaks

The remaining KATSEYE members say they continue to stay close to Sophia and Manon as they take time away from group activities

KATSEYE members are showing support for Sophia and Manon, who are on separate hiatuses from the group. Manon, the Swiss member, announced her hiatus in February 2026, while Sophia, who is from the Philippines, announced on August 7, 2026, that she would temporarily step away from promotional activities to focus on her mental health and wellness. It was also shared that Sophia decided to take her break following advice from medical professionals.

On August 14, 2026, the remaining 4 members, Lara, Daniela, Yoonchae, and Megan appeared on the Today show’s Citi Summer Concert Series. When asked whether they remain in contact with Sophia and Manon, Lara said the members continue to support them. She explained that KATSEYE places a strong priority on personal well-being and keeps supporting them. Lara also sent them a simple message, saying, “We love you guys so much always!”

“I think as KATSEYE, it’s so important to us to always prioritize our well-being so we stand by Sophia and Manon through and through, and we ride for them,” Lara shared.

Manon’s hiatus took place several months earlier, so she did not perform KATSEYE at Coachella in April 2026. However, she was later seen at the festival as a concert-goer. Sophia’s break is more recent and affects the group’s current promotional schedule, as they recently released their EP “Wild” and will embark on the Wildworld Tour to promote the project. Despite performing with fewer members, KATSEYE has shared that both Sophia and Manon remain part of the group and are welcome to rejoin.
