The Duchess of Sussex was frowned upon in one of her fashion choices as she broke royal protocol for her first Trooping the Colour, something that undoubtedly caused discomfort for some royals, as Meghan Markle was apparently never able to adapt to the rules.
Prince Harry‘s wife wore a pastel pink dress from the luxurious brand Carolina Herrera, and although her color palette was within the parameters allowed for the occasion, there was something in her outfit that was not well seen by the royals for a ceremony of this type.
The parameters are clear, and Meghan Markle complied with some of them, such as wearing pastel shades, nail polish in a natural color, and a dress that covered the knees; however, she did not comply by wearing her shoulders uncovered, which drew much attention during the celebration as it is a very clear rule.
The Duchess of Sussex only attended the traditional event on two occasions, but they were enough to cause controversy in the family, widening the huge gap between her and the British royals.
