Good news for K-pop stans! BLACKPINK’s Jisoo recently made an appearance on Red Velvet’s Seulgi YouTube show “Vacation Life.” But this dream collaboration didn’t come unannounced! On August 14, Seulgi spilled the tea with a teaser, revealing that the BLACKPINK member would make a stellar appearance on her show.
Even though these K-pop superstars have been friends for a while, they’ve never revealed details of their cute beginnings—let alone collaborate for a show. But no time to be stuck in the past, because these two just unveiled how their friendship came to be. And guess what? It all happened when the pair ran into each other during an award show.
Flashback to 2019: The Gaon Chart Music Awards (known as the Circle Chart Music Awards today) were taking place, with BLACKPINK and Red Velvet among the attendees. It turns out that BLACPINK’s Jiso and Lisa ran into the Red Velvet member in the bathroom. Initially, Seulgi thought they could not be close friends because they were from different agencies, but Jisoo was all about a warm welcome!
Fast-forward to now, the Jisoo and Seulgi are now close besties after a bright greeting during an accidental bathroom situation!
