One of the most anticipated dates of the year is about to arrive and of course it is Halloween, a worldwide party where people dress up as they want, especially as their favorite characters, but apparently that will no longer be possible.

More than 4 months ago the actors went on strike, causing many audiovisual productions had to stop and even many films have been delayed, as well as the promotional tours of the actors who are part of the union have been affected, but now, apparently, even the costumes will have the consequences, since the union union has taken out some rules to be able to dress up as your favorite characters.

The actors’ union suggested that members dress up as “non-accessible content” characters or generalized characters such as werewolves, ghosts and zombies.

“This was intended to help them avoid promoting strike work, and is the latest in a series of guidelines we’ve issued. It does not apply to anyone’s children. We are on strike for important reasons and have been for almost 100 days. Our number one priority remains getting the studios back to the bargaining table,” the union said.

The news of the rules have even impacted the world of Hollywood actors, since even an actor like Ryan Raynolds expressed himself through his social networks about it.

“I can’t wait to yell “scab” at my 8 year old daughter all night long. She doesn’t belong to the actors’ union but she needs to learn,” the actor assured.

What do you think about it? Will you abide by the actors’ union’s rules as a way of supporting their requests or will you stick with your initial Halloween costume plans?
