The theme of the Met Gala 2024 is revealed and with that the speculation of what we will see on the red carpet and every year celebrities shine with the outfits they wear, reminding us why they are such iconic figures and of course we can’t wait to see it.
We haven’t even lived through one of the most important awards, the Oscars and we are already celebrating the outfits and celebrity arrivals for the Met Gala 2024, without a doubt, every year it gets better and after revealing the theme, everyone has shown great excitement, but now the question is… which celebrities are invited?
Superstar Bad Bunny, actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, “Euphoria” actress Zendaya and “Thor” himself, Chris Hemsworth, who will join Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
If you have no idea what we’re talking about, Vogue recently revealed the theme of the Met Gala 2024. This year’s dress code will align with the previously revealed theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”, and inspired by that, This year’s dress code is “The Garden of Time.”:
“More modern, less delicate pieces imbued with the same spirit as the spotlit fashions will be showcased alongside them, and broken up into three sub-themes: Land, Sea, and Sky,”
“Think melancholic florals (as moody florals aren’t moody enough).” Vogue wrote.
Jonathan Anderson, creative director at Loewe, and Shou Zi Chew, CEO of TikTok, are honorary chairs. This year, TikTok is the sponsor of the gala, with assistance from Loewe. May 6th, 2024, will see the 2024 Met Gala. The public can view the exhibit from May 10 to September 2, 2024.
We certainly can’t contain our excitement at the news of the Met Gala 2024, so now we just have to wait for celebrities to start confirming their attendance.
