The production company Illumination shared that this upcoming installment will tell the story of Gru welcoming a new member to his family, Gru Jr., who, according to revelations, has an ‘intent on tormenting his dad“.
In addition, Gru will have a new rival called Maxime Le Mal, who will be voiced by Will Ferrell, and his “femme fatale girlfriend”, Valentina, voiced by the actress Sofia Vergara.
