Despite how promising her future looked, between the 90s and the 2000s, Amanda Bynes‘ life was not so easy. The star of ‘The Amanda Show’, admitted in 2010 on her Twitter account that “being an actress is not as much fun as it seems” and that she was thinking of retiring from show business.

This never happened and she participated with Emma Stone in ‘Easy A’, but, two years later, it was her personal life that fell apart, as published by Daily Mail. She was arrested several times for driving under the influence of substances, plus she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia in 2013.

Her mental instability reached the point that, for the American justice system, the actress needed to be under the guardianship of her mother Lynn Bynes, a custody that lasted almost nine years. In 2022, Amanda Bynes was ‘released’ from her guardianship as her condition improved and she began to make her own financial decisions.

.

Her attendance at a convention, along with performers such as Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell and Danny Tamberelli would have marked her first public appearance in nearly 10 years, but she did not attend due to ‘health issues’ that she did not detail.

Amanda Bynes continues in her decline and was recently isolated in an insane asylum after being rescued from the streets of Los Angeles, California. The 36-year-old woman accosted a driver on March 19, indicating that she had just suffered a psychotic attack and then called 911.

Now, reports indicate that the actress is hospitalized for about 72 hours at an undisclosed facility for psychological and physical evaluation, although she did not suffer any injuries during the incident.
