We are all in need of a new horror movie that will make our hair stand on end, and it has often been said that movies are no longer made as they used to be and of course they are right, our technology has evolved so much that we are in another great moment of cinema and something that excites us a lot, is the release of a new film that has as its protagonist some very peculiar masks and it is The Strangers.
Directed by Renny Harlin, the most recent episode of the slasher character-driven series features Maya (Madelaine Petsch) and Ryan (Froy Gutierrez) as lovers spend the night at an Airbnb in Oregon. Because of this, things take a turn for the worse for the couple. Then, strange events at the house turn into Maya and Ryan being terrorized by a trio of masked psychopaths who do all this for pleasure.

During a stop on a road trip, at a remote rental house in the woods, a young couple become prey to a mysterious gang of three masked strangers who attack without warning or reason.
The Strangers: Chapter 1 will be released in theaters on May 17. Chapter 2 and 3 are expected to be released later this year. The truth is that we don’t know if we love the idea of seeing this movie in three parts, because we definitely don’t want them to have the same reactions as with Halloween or movies that try to have a new theatrical adaptation, as they often run the risk of not being able to surpass or even match the original title.
