It was difficult to ignore the fact that, as they posed on the red carpet with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the premiere of a new Bob Marley biopic, Holness had recently informed Harry’s estranged brother William that his country was “moving on” from the British monarchy as head of state. At the Kingston Carib Theatre’s One Love premiere, Harry and Meghan were a surprise celebrity visitor. When they posed on the red carpet, they seemed to receive a far more cordial greeting from the nation’s leader than William and Kate did in 2022. Harry was observed cuddling and speaking with Ziggy, Bob Marley’s kid.
