However, neither of them was registered with official royal titles recognized by the monarchy. This sparked controversy online as the general public sees this as an act of revenge against Harry and Meghan.
People also rushed to make comparisons and highlighted how Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children received their royal titles with no problem. This was expected since William is next in the line of succession to the British throne.
