The royal family reacts to tragic crime at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event in an England school

The royal family recently reacted to a tragic attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event in a Southport, England school. This crime took place on Monday, July 29, leaving three dead children, 8 injured children, and two adults in critical condition. According to the Associated Press, Merseyside Police reported that a 17-year-old teenager from Banks, Lancashire was arrested under suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

In a touching message, the Prince and Princess of Wales reacted to the attack, sending strength to the families and friends of the victims and congratulating the emergency responders on their professionalism:

As parents, we cannot begin to imagine what the families, friends and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport today are going through.

We send our love, thoughts and prayers to all those involved in this horrid and heinous attack.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift also reacted to the unfortunate event on her Instagram account. The singer uploaded an Instagram story expressing her shock over the horrendous crime:
