After these published images, many fans expected Taehyung to attend the event with Jennie, however, this did not happen. Although the idol missed the film event, he did show up at an exclusive CELINE event in Cannes alongside BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

According to the statement shared by HYBE, the BTS member’s agency, the artist traveled to Cannes, France, to appear at a session of the luxury brand and represent it at an event, but it was not the same event that Jennie would go to.
Therefore, V was not invited to the Cannes Film Festival from the beginning, and it was all nothing more than confusion on the part of ARMY, who has been very aware of the singer after his romance rumors.
