These fans got the name ‘ARMY‘ from the K-Pop septet, which has a special and important meaning for each of them. Despite the fact that this word is another way of calling the armed forces in many countries, it has a different and incredible meaning that very few BTS fans know about.
The meaning behind this word has two interpretations, which make up the values and concept of the boy group:
First of all, this is related to the word ‘bulletproof‘, which is the meaning of BTS’ name in Korean. And the second is the acronym for ‘Lovely MC Representatives for Youth‘, as the group claims to represent youth in their motto.
However, on another occasion, in the middle of a live performance, the leader, RM said to the crowd present the phrase “areumdaun miseong“, which would be a new abbreviation for ARMY, which means “beautiful voices“, giving this important group of fans another meaning to their name.
