In recent days, the mistake in the fifth season of ‘Stranger Things‘ has gone viral, which has crashed social media, generating mixed comments among fans and netizens.
This ‘Stranger Things’ scene goes viral due to a historical error (WITH SPOILER)
After the release of Vol. 2 for the last season of the Netflix series, the characters went through new experiences that made all viewers go crazy; among them was when, in Episode 7, Holly Wheeler finds herself trapped in the horrifying ‘Pain Tree’ within Vecna’s lair.
As the girl desperately struggles to claw her way out of the fleshy tissue, her sleeve pulls back to reveal a very familiar, very modern clothing brand, the Under Armour logo, which draws much attention among viewers who immediately go to share it on networks.
Although for some people this is not a big thing, it is well known that the series of events takes place in 1987; however, the brand wasn’t founded until 1996, generating mixed comments. Critics even made comparisons with the infamous Starbucks cup during ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8:
If Stranger Things didn’t spend 24 HOURS in filming/reshoots for Will’s “coming out” scene, they wouldn’t miss Holly Wheeler wearing a company’s shirt that didn’t even exist in the 80s (Under Amour)
