On the Netflix platform, users have found a series of the European medieval genre that has pleasantly surprised them with its quality, causing many to classify it as superior to any of the 8 seasons of the successful production ‘Game Of Thrones‘.

Although the first season of this series titled ‘Rise of Empires: Ottoman‘ was released some time ago, specifically January 2020, this did not stop users from enjoying it and being delighted with its interesting plot full of drama and history.

It is a Turkish production that tells the following story: “Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II wages an epic campaign to take the Byzantine capital of Constantinople and changes the course of history for centuries“, according to the synopsis offered by the streaming service.

The series has received praise for its plot, story, costumes, settings and cinematography, which has allowed it to surpasses any season of ‘Game of Thrones’, particularly the last one, which has been harshly criticized by fans and experts due to its unexpected end.

In addition, the series ‘Rise of Empires: Ottoman’ also stars great Turkish actors such as Cem YiÄŸit ÜzümoÄŸlu and Tommaso Basili. It was directed by Emre Åžahin and the script was written by Kelly McPherson.
