According to reports from New York Times journalist Michael Schmidt, Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump had a fierce fight when Donald Trump was president of the United States. And according to details revealed by the former White House chief of staff, John Kelly, the women really hate each other.
Tensions began when Ivanka Trump wanted to be present fulfilling the role of the first lady in all the presidential acts she wanted to attend, and that is how she constantly fought with Melania every time a ceremonial act took place.
The man confessed to the American newspaper: “I thought that I needed to put in structure and better staffing for Trump and all of a sudden, I am confronting frivolous issues like fights between the first lady and Ivanka Trump, and Ivanka Trump trying to maneuver, to become the first lady in ceremonial ways.”
Kelly learned after he came in as Trump’s chief of staff in July 2017 that Ivanka wanted to take over title of first lady from Melania.
