It’s official, the DCEU universe has ended as we knew it, and the new Aquaman movie that has come out puts an end to an era of movies we’ve been watching, which have failed one after the other. We are about to live a reboot that we have never seen before and the truth is that we are very excited for what can happen.

The DCEU universe is officially over

The new Aquaman movie has already been released and with that many changes, let’s start with the main thing, the reviews of the movie, which indicate that it is not better than the first one, indicating that the story is not very good but that the visual effects are a very nice subject.

The DCEU universe is officially over

With “Superman: Legacy” in 2025, the DC world will be rebooted by new DC Studios CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, who also want to recast the majority of the key roles. Since there isn’t a single “Aquaman” film on the DC schedule that has been disclosed thus far, Momoa’s final film will be “Lost Kingdom.”
If you have no idea what the film is about, here’s the synopsis:

Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time around, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to defeat Aquaman once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever and wields the power of the mythical Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their differences to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.

No doubt we are all very excited for the Aquaman reboot, as seeing new movies excites everyone. What do you think about it? Have you seen the new Aquaman movie?
