Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have set a condition to the royal family to attend the coronation of King Charles III on May 6th at Westminster Abbey. According to sources close to the couple, they refuse to go if the atmosphere between them remains “hostile”. For the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are afraid that the atmosphere will be something “toxic” as it was during the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and the funeral.

Before traveling to the UK, Prince Harry wants to speak with his father and brother, Prince William, to go over even the smallest details of Charles III’s coronation and settle their differences. However, Harry has had no contact with either of them since the release of his controversial revelations in “Spare” last month.

Although Harry has made his position clear, the final decision is in the hands of the royal family, who will decide whether or not to accept the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s request. In addition, it is suggested that the organizers will do everything possible to keep Kate Middleton and William away from Meghan and Harry, after the bullying the Sussexes have suffered from the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are likely to join the 2,000 guests as “normal” members of the family and not take on any special role in the ceremony. It is also possible that they will be banned from appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with Kate and William, because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have said on several occasions that they want to reconcile with their family, so far it has not been possible.

On the other hand, there is a possibility that Prince Harry will attend the coronation alone and leave Meghan at home, since his son Archie turns four years old that same day. The final decision is in the hands of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the royal family, but the tension between them is still very evident.
