In a new announcement, it was revealed that the broadcast of the 2025 MTV VMAs achieved the largest audience the event has had in six years, becoming a great win for the renowned award ceremony that celebrates music.

In recent reports, it was revealed that after moving to CBS, the broadcast networks of the MTV Video Music Awards, celebrated on September 7th, fueled for the first time in history a 42 percent increase in viewers.

According to Nielsen’s, the awards ceremony, which was also aired on MTV and streamed on Paramount+, delivered 5.5 million viewers, setting a new record by becoming the highest viewership for the event in 6 years.

On social networks netizens who enjoy this ceremony react to this achievement with comments like: “They actually gave a really good show this year”, “Wow!
