At the end of July the movie ‘Red, White & Royal Blue‘ premiered on Amazon Prime, and to this day it has been involved in controversies due to its strong +18 scenes between its protagonists played by Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez , which has even received an adult rating.
In a recent episode of the ‘Just For Variety‘ podcast, Galitzine, who plays the character of Henry, confessed that in the production the main characters present explicit scenes, which even his director classified as “ravenous and animalistic“, confirming that this film is aimed at an older audience.
The actor also revealed that on the recording set there was an intimacy coordinator, a person who is in charge of negotiating with the actors and guaranteeing that these intimate scenes can be carried out without problem and comfortably, however he claimed that the scenes were more than they expected.
“These men (referring to the characters he plays with Zakhar Perez) fall in love, but sometimes their appetite is voracious and animal, and it’s something that happens to both of them mutually. I think there is nothing worse than not feeling the necessary connection with the rest of the set when doing a scene of this magnitude“, said the actor, confirming that he felt comfortable and connected with his co-star.
