There are artists who unfortunately are already known for not being the best people and several times they have spent time in jail or have been accused of a crime. They have been involved with violence, drugs, weapons, among other things. And one of them would be Tekashi 6ix9ine, who many times has gone viral on social networks, due to some breach with the law and I would now be happening due to some domestic violence charges in Dominican Republic.
Tekashi 6ix9ine arrested for domestic abuse
As reported by the Associated Press, the 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is being held in a jail in Santo Domingo, the country’s capital, and is expected to appear in court on Thursday. At the hearing, a judge will decide whether the “FEFE” rapper will be released on bail or remain incarcerated. No public information has been made available about the alleged domestic violence dispute.
Hernandez’s attorney did not immediately appear, and no further information was immediately available. On Thursday, a judge is likely to make a decision on whether to release the rapper on bail or keep him in jail for the duration of the investigation.
He was arrested in October at a seaside hotel in the Dominican Republic on suspicion of beating a local music producer. In the producer’s studio, Hernandez was recording with his partner, Yailin la Mas Viral, a rapper from the Dominican Republic. Yailin reportedly admitted to striking Tekashi’s car “to cause him financial hardship” after he allegedly took some of her money and passport. However, Tekashi later paid Yailin’s $9,000 bond and, once the female rapper was out of jail, she insisted that she was actually the victim.
