Taylor Swift’s compilation film, “The Eras Tour,” has been intimidating other movies on their release dates. This is not surprising, as in its pre-sale alone, the film has grossed over $25 million, which has led many other releases to postpone their box office release dates.
Jason Blum, the director of the highly anticipated horror film, The Exorcist: Believers, revealed that he was also affected by the overwhelming pressure of Taylor Swift’s feature film, and acknowledged that it was impossible to compete against a production that has had such high pre-sale numbers. Therefore, Jason Blum, like many others, decided to delay the film’s release date.
The film was scheduled to premiere on October 13, but was moved to coincide with Taylor Swift’s production “The Eras Tour”, which is a compilation of highlights from the world-renowned singer’s recent world tour.
