It’s not a secret that Taylor Swift has touched the lives of her fans, also known as Swifties, in many ways. This time, the pop diva saw this first-hand after watching a single mother’s TikTok. In the short video, Jenny, a lifelong Swiftie, shared her and her 9-year-old daughter’s bond over Taylor Swift. And guess what? The superstar couldn’t help but respond with warmth on December 21st.
Tay-Tay, completely moved by the TikTok, reacted, saying “I’m so moved by what you said. It reminds me of me and my mom and the memories we made at that age.” And we couldn’t agree more! In the TikTok, Jenny retells how Tay’s music, specifically the song “Mean,” has helped her daughter deal with bullying at school. Trust us, Jenny, more than one has seen help in that song, and it gets better!
And the cherry on top? After Jenny and her daughter saw Taylor Swift’s reaction to the heartfelt video, they both responded by shaking their bodies to Tay-Tay’s hit “Is It Over Now?” from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), captioning it, “Is this real?!” And, honestly, we can’t blame them! If we were in their position, we wouldn’t believe T-Swift saw our video.
