Taylor Swift once again proved she’s got a heart of gold! The “Bigger than the Whole Sky” songwriter recently donated $100,000 to Lilah, a two-year-old Swiftie battling a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. According to the family’s GoFundMe, only 58 cases of this cancer were documented in the United States this year. Doctors had just removed a mass from Lilah’s brain when the devastating diagnosis came back as a stage 4 tumor.
The singer quietly made her contribution and added a message that read “Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah! Love, Taylor.” Quickly, Swifties spotted the donation and began contributing to Lillah’s treatment with $13, filling the comments section with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s songs, such as “Keep dancing through the lightning strikes until your sky is opalite!” from the song “Opalite.”

Lilah’s mom, Katelynn, shared that her little girl adores Taylor Swift’s music and finds joy in it even during treatments. “She thinks of Taylor as her friend,” she wrote on TikTok earlier in October. The singer’s generosity continues a long tradition of helping those in need, from surprise hospital visits to inspiring million-dollar fundraisers. This time, her donation gave her fandom an entire reason to help one of their members.
