The 2024 MTV VMAs was an electrifying night at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, with show-stopping performances and record-breaking wins. Hosted by Megan Thee Stallion, the show had no shortage of star power. Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter were among the night’s biggest winners. Read on!

Taylor Swift broke records, snagging seven Moon Persons out of her 12 nominations. Notably, she broke Beyoncé‘s record for the most solo VMA wins, now having 30 awards compared to Bey’s 26. Taylor Swift also became the first artist ever to win Video of the Year five times, making a big move! Not falling short, Post Malone won 5 awards thanks to “Fornight.”

Meanwhile, Chappell Roan grabbed her first VMA for Best New Artist after a monumental year. Megan Thee Stallion didn’t leave empty-handed either, taking home two Moon Persons, including Best Art Direction for “BOA” and Best Trending Video for “Mamushi.” Similarly, Eminem took home two awards for Best Hip Hop, thanks to “Houdini.”
