In recent revelations, it was revealed that Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish beat Ariana Grande at VMAs 2024 in one of the most important contested categories, thanks to the votes of their fans on the platform.
Ariana Grande’s song ‘We Can’t Be Friends‘ was competing in the ‘Song of the Summer’ category; however, it has been left out, being surpassed in votes by ‘Fortnight‘ by Taylor Swift ft. Post Malone and ‘BIRDS OF A FEATHER‘ by Billie Eilish, who now lead the voting.

The awards will take place next Wednesday, September 11th, and it will be then that two artists’ hit songs will finally find faces for the voting competition to choose the winner of the song of the summer category; it will certainly be a very even match-up between the singers.
The fact that Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish will be the official finalists of the category says a lot about their talent and popularity at the moment, as being nominated for song of the summer is quite gratifying, as they are competing with many other very talented artists.
