Since “Anyone But You” started its filming sessions, Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney have been surrounded by rising rumors about an alleged romantic relationship. Although neither of the two actors has spoken up about it, the pressure is almost crushing them daily.
On March 2, Glen Powell surprised everyone on “Saturday Night Live” to put to rest any dating rumors between him and his co-star, Sydney. During Sweeney’s opening monologue, she made everyone notice that Glenn was in the room as she addressed the numerous comments about her online about her alleged relationship.
“That’s obviously not true. Me and my fiancé produced the movie together and he was there the entire shoot, and I just want to let everyone know that he’s the man of my dreams and we’re still together and stronger than ever.”
After she finished her sentence, the camera cuts to Powell, which causes major laughter and applause from the crowd. She was initially referring to Jonathan Davino. The American actress has also addressed the rumors several times in interviews, such as Variety.
“Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker.”
Sidney Sweeney has been trying to dismiss the rumors and crazy theories from the fans since she confirmed her relationship with Jonathan David back in December 2023. Although the chemistry between Sweeney and Powell is noticeable, people should respect their respective relationships.
