Super Junior’s Heechul has taken his playful rivalry with Donghae to a whole new level! After weeks of joking about legal action, Heechul followed through on August 23, 2025, by sharing what looked like an official lawsuit document on social media. Not holding back in the caption, he wrote, “Are you surprised that Donghae is talking nonsense again? I will sue you, Lee Donghae.”
The document was convincing enough to cause some confusion. Heechul filled it out with tongue-in-cheek details, claiming he was “not related to the defendant Donghae” and clarifying that they were “members of the same idol group and formerly sworn brothers.” Fortunately, fans quickly realised it was just a joke, but the effort to make the lawsuit look real took many by surprise. 
This banter started when Donghae uploaded a series of embarrassing photos of Heechul, prompting the idol to fire back with mock legal threats. At one point, Heechul even declared, “I’m talking to my lawyer currently. I’ll be filing a lawsuit soon.” What began as a simple prank has now become one of the funniest storylines between the two members, reminding fans why Super Junior’s bond is a comedy show!
