Stray Kids’ Lee Know’s diagnosis was revealed after being injured at the 2025 MAMA Awards

Stray Kids are currently promoting their latest album, “DO IT”, as part of the SKZ IT TAPE musical project. The idols have met with success on diverse music markets, and they were ready to take it to the next level with an unforgettable performance at the 2025 MAMA Awards.

However, Lee Know wasn’t lucky enough after performing a medley of the group’s hits at the show. The idol was trying to get himself together during the performance, but something was off, which brought the K-Netizen’s attention.

What happened to Lee Know?

On November 30, Stray Kids’ music agency, JYP Entertainment, cleared the air on what happened to Lee Know during the MAMA Awards. Lee Know, who sustained an ankle injury while performing during the second night of the ceremony, was rushed immediately to the hospital for examination and treatment after returning to South Korea.

The agency stated that the idol was diagnosed with an ankle sprain, and he must receive appropriate treatment and take sufficient rest before incorporating once again to the group’s promotion activities. Read JYP Entertainment’s full English statement:

We would like to inform you about the health condition of Stray Kids member Lee Know.

 

During the 2025 MAMA Awards performance on November 29 (SAT), Lee Know sustained an ankle injury and immediately received the necessary treatment on site. Upon his return to Korea on November 30 (SUN), he immediately visited the hospital to undergo additional examinations and receive treatment.

 

He has been diagnosed with an ankle sprain, and in accordance with the medical team’s opinion, he will be receiving appropriate treatment and taking sufficient rest.

 

We kindly request the understanding of fans who may have been concerned, and assure you that we will continue to prioritise the artist’s health as we support Lee Know’s swift recovery.
