He related that Spotify executives were “horrified” due to Prince Harry’s comments about the alleged contracts and deals he cleared in a quick manner to make a lot of money, as his contract with Spotify for podcasting was coming to an end.

In strong statements to the entertainment media ‘Palace Confidential‘, the prestigious editor and journalist of the Daily Mail, Richard Eden, wanted to recall the controversial interview Harry had with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, where he emphasized the moment when the Duke of Sussex commented on his financial problems after the British crown withdrew his family security.

Prince Harry revealed to Oprah that the multi-million dollar contracts he had signed with major digital platforms Spotify and Netflix were never part of his plans, “That was someone else’s suggestion because of the fact that my family literally stopped supporting me financially, and I had to pay for our own security“. These words horrified Spotify executives, as he implied that he never wanted to have a collaboration where both parties supported their projects with the Duke of Sussex’s ideas, but rather used the contracts out of desperation to get money quickly.
