Every year it’s the same: the press is inundated with information, rumors and statements about a possible Spice Girls reunion. And with Melanie B quieter lately, Melanie C is now in charge of commenting on the British group’s plans and, according to her, they are always talking about a meeting.
In her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which was exceptionally hosted by Howard Mendel, the eternal Sporty Spice was asked if there will be a new Spice Girls reunion and she replied:
“I really hope so. We are talking about this. We are constantly talking about it.
It was always the plan. We played these stadium shows two years ago.
It was the best thing we ever did.
The creative was so amazing. We had a lot of fun“, said the member of the spice girls.
It’s worth remembering that the group’s initial reunion plan was to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of “Wannabe”, their first single, in this year 2021, but the Covid-19 pandemic made performing shows impossible.
