SM Entertainment has officially launched its first British boy band, Dear Alice, in a groundbreaking collaboration with English label MOON&BACK Media and BBC One. The group made an initial splash this August 2 on the BBC One reality show “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience.” The series will document a group of five young men from Britain training to become idols.

This five-member group consists of James Sharp (23), Dexter Greenwood (22), Oliver Quinn (20), Reese Carter (20), and Blaise Noon (19). These young talents are set to embark on an intense K-pop training journey in South Korea, preparing for their highly anticipated global debut.

This marks the first British boy band co-produced by SM Entertainment, known for legendary groups like Girls’ Generation, EXO, and aespa. It also becomes another effort to bring K-pop-influenced music to the West, with other acts such as VCHA, KATSEYE, and XG focusing on a global audience.
