SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan becomes the face of an important South Korean place

SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan just scored a major W! This K-pop sensation has been appointed as the new promotional ambassador of Jeju Island, and it’s a full-circle moment for the native. Seungkwan, who comes from Jeju, will be the face of his homeland, nine years after debuting with SEVENTEEN.

On September 13, Jeju’s governor, Oh Young Hoon, is scheduled to sign the official agreement at HYBE headquarters. This marks an exciting new chapter in Seungkwan’s career. He’s not just a K-pop sensation but also a proud Jeju native, experiencing life in Gujwa, Jeju-si, and Jeju Island.

On the work front, Seungkwan recently wowed fans with his solo single “Dandelion.” Most recently, his group, SEVENTEEN, is set to drop their 12th mini-album ” I FELT HELPLESS” on October 14th, giving Carats (that’s the name SEVENTEEN stans have) a collection of bops this winter.
