SVENTEEN’s Hoshi is once again showing that generosity is a family thing. On November 11, 2025, the Community Chest of Korea announced that Hoshi’s mother, Park Mi Young, had joined the “Honor Society,” a distinguished circle for major donors who contribute over 100 million KRW (about 75,000 USD).
This makes the Hoshi family part of the “Family Honor” initiative, with both of his parents now official members. The SEVENTEEN member himself joined the cause back in 2021 for his 26th birthday, and his father followed last year. Their commitment runs deep, with Hoshi’s family supporting multiple projects, including a donation to build a public school in Zambia.

While Hoshi serves his military duty (he enlisted on September 16, 2025, and will return March 15, 2027), his family continues his mission of giving back and helping others in need. Their ongoing efforts prove that the SEVENTEEN member keeps his heart shining both on-stage and for those who need a helping hand.
