SEVENTEEN’s Dino is about to embark on a solo journey to promote his upcoming musical projects and debut as his alter ego, Picheolin. The idol is currently promoting the date of his first mini-album, inspired by the 1980’s Korean street music culture.

Dino will present “‘吉BOARD,” on August 3 to showcase the “Gilboard” moodstyle (“gil” meaning street in Korean). The idol released a trailer showcasing Picheolin across different eras—from a prehistoric figure who discovered rhythm before language to a futuristic hero in 2126 who brings planetary peace through new beats.

The trailer is already offering the audience which direction the album will go, blending heavy beats with sophisticated saxophone sounds to create an infectious addiction. The album might be far from release, but it has already built greater expectations.

Picheolin, the charismatic CEO and joyful producer of the fictional agency BOMG, is a character defined by warmth and an unmatched passion for ‘Heung’ (a Korean term for hype). There’s no doubt that SEVENTEEN’s Dino is going to make a strong impact in the Kpop scene with this alter ego!
