SEVENTEEN: Vernon and The8 announce their subunit debut with mini album ‘V8’

Through a recent official notice, SEVENTEEN members Vernon and The8 announced their subunit debut with the mini album ‘V8’ coming this month, bringing a youthful and energetic style.

On June 7th, the boy group announced through their Weverse account that their two members worked together to bring fans a new subunit titled V8, which will debut with a mini album of the same name on June 29, 2026, at 18:00 (KST) / 05:00 (ET).

The agency describes the album as Vernon’s and The8’s “energy of their spent youth into a renewed drive” with the intention “to move forward, transforming the instability and precariousness of youth into a surging sense of freedom.”

Pre-orders begin on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 19:00 (PT) and 22:00 (ET), while the official launch will be on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 02:00 (PT) and 05:00 (ET).

The announcement was also accompanied by images showcasing the mini-album’s artwork, a glimpse of its physical versions, and everything included, from photocards and posters to stickers, drawing the attention of many fans.
